CONNECT WITH REAL-WORLD EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

InovaED is a partnership between CATI Inc. and the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA). For the past seven years, CATI and the Scienceworks program at Carthage College have worked cooperatively to provide CATI patented technologies to students writing business plans for the school’s technology commercialization program.

The initial pilot program has 12 NCIAA-member institutions.
Each school has access to the InovaED database featuring available technologies for licensing from CATI, universities, government labs and individual inventors.

Student teams from these academic institutions “check-out” selected technologies and foster the commercialization process with business plans, market studies and ideation sessions.
Students will have the option to license the technology for their own entrepreneurial ventures.
Finalized work from the student teams remains in the InovaED database library to further enhance related commercialization opportunities.

DATABASE
This national database provides a process for engineering and entrepreneurship students/faculty from national colleges and universities to utilize CATI technologies for real world commercialization projects.
