CATI has launched several partnerships in cooperation with regional and statewide economic development groups interested in replicating the CATI programming model, as well as being tied into a growing national network of private industry technologies available for licensing.
Delaware Technologies
The State of Delaware¹s Economic Development Office has contracted with CATI to evaluate and assess more than 250 patented technologies from Dupont and Hercules Corporation. DEDO is also replicating CATI’s technology transfer process.
State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) provides development assistance in areas such as marketing, business and community finance, exporting, small business advocacy, and manufacturing assesments. The department also issues professional credentials for the construction trades and administers safety and building codes.
U.S. Economic Development Administration
EDA targets its investment assistance on attracting private capital investment and creating higher-skill, higher-wage jobs in those communities and regions that are suffering from economic distress. EDA invesments are focused on locally-developed, regionally-based economic development initiatives that achieve the highest return on the taxpayers' investment and that directly contribue to economic growth. EDA is authorized to partner with non-profit organizations and units of local government.
Racine County Economic Development Corporation
The Racine County Economic Development Corporation has an experienced staff of professionals ready to assist you with your project no matter how large or small. Governed by a Board of Directors, the RCEDC is commited to recruiting new business and industry to the community and to assist existing industry with expansions. We welcome your participation in the RCEDC and invite you to become a member of the organization.
Gateway Technical College
Gateway Technical College collaborates with communities in Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties to ensure economic growth and viability by providing education, training, leadership, and technological resources to meet the changing needs of students, employers, and communities.
Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC)
RAMACis a voluntary, nonprofit association whose primary source of operating income is the dues paid by member firms. RAMAC is the largest single voice representing the interest common to every small and large, industry, profession, service and retail business and community organization in the Racine area.
Carthage College Scienceworks
This pilot partnership engages students in commercialization planning of CATI intellectual property.
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside SBDC/CATI Specialty Center
This technology-based economic development organization provides value-added technical resources to entrepreneurs and existing companies, primarily in Southeastern Wisconsin.
NCIIA
The National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance fosters invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship in higher education as a way of creating innovative, commercially viable, and socially beneficial businesses and employment opportunities in the United States.
