Keith Jones

Keith Jones serves as CATI's Senior Licensing Advisor. Keith is also founder and president of K.A.Jones & Associates, Inc., which is an international technical consultancy group that provides 'world class' client services in the areas of strategic innovation and technology transfer. This is across abroad range of business categories that include Food & Beverage, Soap & Detergent, Personal Care, Pharmaceutical, Household Care, Insect Control and Specialty Products and Chemical, that also includes Fragrances and Flavors.

Prior to the formation of K.A.Jones & Associates, Inc, in 1998, he served as a Research & Development executive with Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Church & Dwight and S. C. Johnson, reaching the position of Vice President. This career path has provided him with broad based expertise in the consumer and specialty products arena, on a world wide basis. This comes from both extended assignments in Latin America, Europe and the Far East, as well as holding 'global' category management positions based in the US. In Europe he was an elected board member to the prestigious A.I.S.E (Associate Internationale de la Savonnerie de la Detergence et products Entretiens), the European equivalent of the U.S. Soap and Detergent Association.

Mr. Jones holds both a B.Sc (1st Class Honors) and M.Sc in Chemical Engineering, from the Universities of Salford and Newcastle (Kings College), England and graduated the 'Executive Program' in Business Administration, INSEAD, Fontainbleau, France in 1995. In the area of 'innovation' he has a demonstrated track record having over 35 US issued patents to his name.

He has professional affiliations in the areas of intellectual property management and technology transfer through active membership in the Licensing Executive Society (LES), the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) and the National Business Incubators Association (NBIA).Through these affiliations, as well as an extensive professional network, he is providing technology need identification, assessment and acquisition services to corporations with needs in their areas of specified strategic interest. This is in addition to providing support in the areas of patent portfolio assessment, technology transfer and licensing in and out.

In the area of food and beverage, both in retail and food service contexts, he has provided consulting services to Kraft Foods, Best Foods, PepsiCo and Flavor House suppliers. The focus being on new product development and system deliver improvement approaches.
